WINLAB EVENTS

In August 2011, Winlab sponsored HPLC Masterclasses conducted by the world renowned chromatographer, John Dolan. This two-day workshop, showed participants a powerful new approach to systematic method development, and the modern approach to method development.

Dr John Dolan has published over 100 scientific articles with emphasis on method development techniques, gradient elution, and column selectivity. He is co-author (with Lloyd Snyder) of three books, Troubleshooting LC Systems, High-Performance Gradient Elution, and the 3rd edition of Introduction to Modern Liquid Chromatography (with Jack Kirkland) – often referred to as the ‘Bible of HPLC’. Over the last 25 years, as one of the principals of LC Resources, he has provided consultation services, written the well-known DryLab method development software, managed a contract method development and analysis laboratory, and taught more than 10,000 students in short courses. John brings all this experience to each class along with his love for teaching – the result is what students often write on their feedback forms: “The best HPLC class I ever took!”

HPLC Masterclasses with John Dolan and Separation Science were offered in Auckland, NZ, and in Sydney, Australia in November 2010.

Winlab Advanced HPLC Method Development Workshops were conducted by acclaimed trainer John Dolan in November 2009.

Winlab exhibited at the Australian Society of Cytology - 39th Science and Business Meeting 2nd-5th October 2009 Gold Coast Convention Centre, Queensland, and at the National Histology Conference in Adelaide May 2009.
